Newseum opens in Washington, DC

From the AP Wire: «WASHINGTON — A mangled and twisted metal tower that once broadcast radio and television signals to New York City from the top of the World Trade Center has a new home at the Newseum, Washington’s monument to press freedom and other protections of the First Amendment. …The creators of the Newseum are touting it as an interactive museum that’s “somewhere between the Smithsonian and Disney World”. … the Newseum is staffed by journalists and museum professionals, and maintains control of all its content. … the focus is on “the stories of your life.”»
A couple of weeks ago my daughter Ariel (13) was invited to a tour preview, including a live news report from the field: quite promising, no? – some glitches are their fault 🙂
