40 years ago: M.L. King murdered

April 4, 1968. It’s the day Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. My favorite of his many quotes: “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
