Tools for open government, here & now!

10Dec07

OpenCongressA very interesting report by Ethan Zuckerman on a California meeting centered on several online projects and options (mostly in some kind of beta versions) for social activists, citizens, authors: digital journalism tools, political data meshing, wiki-like software to monitor government representatives, annotating video through a wiki model, and an annotation method to allow group discussion of the new GNU Public Licenses (under development by the FSF). Yes, that’s what we need: tools for open society and open government. Also useful the post comments. Bene, bravi!
