Another buy-out: FeedBurnerGoogle. Should we cry or laugh?

Media ConcentrationFrom Wired.com’s Epicenter: “Google’s Susan Wojcicki has confirmed the company’s acquisition of RSS manager FeedBurner.” And of course there’s no lack of coverage around. Is it a good deal? For whom? Shouldn’t we be concerned about all these buy-outs? As for any (media) concentration such a trend could eventually lead to less choices for users. Overall this starts to look really like a new bubble, big fish eat small fish—the power of the few is still the dominant paradigm….
